Hi Mary here,
I have 2 daughters, my eldest is almost 10, we have been fostering her from infancy and we have a 3 year old. I want to teach my girls about the world and all the different places to live and maybe one day visit!
My husband and I moved from Dublin to Carlow 16 years ago, it's a nice small country town with beautiful green countryside around us and beaches not too far either for bringing our 2 dogs for walks. We are both social workers. I have been working with children in state care and foster carers for almost 20years.
We'd love to hear about your daily life, weather and what kind of place you live in. We love little details, what are you wearing today? What have you had to eat? What are your plans for this week?
I love to bake and garden, cards with pictures of flowers and cakes would be fun! Cards that show us a little about the geographical and history of your home would be really interesting. Or of the animals local to where you live.
My husband likes to run and cycle, any card related to this would be cool too.
We'd like to hear about your plans for today...or anything at all that is on your mind today.
Christmas and birthday cards would be really nice....
