About Marsha...
I'm an editor by trade and an anthropologist by training. My hobbies include knitting, photography, cooking (and eating!) vegetarian food, listening to and playing music, reading, and hiking. I make a lot of pottery (mostly mugs) and play a lot of D&D. (My favorite character is my gnome barbarian with a Napoleonic complex.)
I am especially fond of postcards that show where you live—the more "tourist-y" the better! Handmade cards are great, too! (I prefer not to receive advertisement or art cards.) Please include the date on your card and write a little bit about yourself. Tell me a story from your life, what you like to do/eat/read/watch, where you have traveled (or hope to travel), about your family—whatever you like!
I'm married and have an 18-year-old daughter, and one day I hope the three of us will travel all over the world--perhaps even to your corner of it!
My family is also involved with CISV: my daughter attended Village in 2016, Interchange in 2018, Step Up in 2019, and Seminar in 2022; and I am a board member of our chapter (CISV Brandywine Valley). If yours is also a CISV family, let me know!
