Hi, my name is Markéta. (Marki)

I am 8 years old and my parents started my profile when covid started. I always traveled a lot with my parents in Europe, Asia, Africa, I was also in New Zealand and suddenly it was impossible to travel. Postcrossing gave me the opportunity to travel, at least virtually, and whenever I get a postcard from any country (city), my parents read to me about your country, customs, your nature, and so I learn a lot about many countries in the world. I enjoy it very much.
I can't write English very well because I'm only in the second grade, so my parents help me write postcards. When I'm older, I'll learn English well, I'll send postcards myself.

I really enjoy gymnastics and any exercise, I like to ride a bike, rollerblade, ski, swim and I like to go to school. I like to go to the forest, to the mountains and I like to collect mushrooms.
I will be very happy if you send me postcards from the country or places where you live, postcards of nature, interesting places, anything interesting about your country. But I also like animals very much and I have a Ragdoll cat, which is my pet.
But I will be happy for every postcard. You can also send me postcards with your favorite fairy tales. I liked Elsa and Anna, but now I'm more interested in youtube and I don't listen to my parents much.
