About Marja...

Hello,

My name is Marja. I live in Gouda with my husband and two daughters and I work as a teacher in the Dutch language.
I like reading, learning about all sorts of things, walking in nature, reading and writing poems, collecting beautiful pictures and all sorts of paper, crafting, making cards. I also like watching English and Scandinavian detectives and Italian movies. I'm learning the Italian language, because I think it's "una lingua bellissima"!

Further I collect stamps, and I'm looking forward to receive cards and stamps from all over the world!

I like all sorts of cards, and especially:
- illustrations of cherries!
- drawings of flamingo's and other birds
- unicorns
- vintage cards
- illustrations from the fifties/sixties/seventies
- if you are from Finland, I would really really love a Moomin card
- art
- drawings
- wild flowers (like cornflowers and poppies)
- castles, architecture
- cards with a fragment of a poem written on it (in your own language, with translation...) or with a little drawing :)

Could you please write the date on your card? And if it's not too much trouble, I would be pleased if you use an envelope, for the stamps :)
But if you don't have one, don't bother.

SWAP OF SURPRISE ENVELOPES?
I love paper and things of paper! Do you also? Then I've got an idea! Let's snailmail...
I send you an envelope (normal size) with 7 little paper things, for example: a nice picture or illustration, a beautiful piece of paper, origami paper, a colourful sticker, an nice stamp, a drawing, a photo, a little paper craft, an inspiring quote or a poem etc.
Then you also send an envelope to me, and we'll both have a surprise on our doormat!

Let me know if you're interested. I'm looking forward to reactions!
