About Marit...

Hi there, fellow postcrosser!

My name is Marit, I'm a 24 year old student from Norway. I've been inactive from postcrossing for about two years, but now I'm back and I'm so excited!!
I study geography at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway, and I love learning about the world! Trondheim is the 3rd biggest city in Norway with about 200 000 inhabitants, of which at least 23 000 are students. I love living here, as the city is just the right size for me. Big enough to have a wide variety of activities and leisure opportunities and a lot of very different people, but also small enough so that I can walk or bike almost everywhere, or use the very decent public transportation system.

When I finish my education I would love to work as an environmental adviser/consultant. I am passionate about trying to live an environmentally friendly and sustainable life. I love to cook sustainable vegetarian meals, and only eat meat during the holidays. My other hobbies are crocheting, knitting, exercising and spending time with friends and family.
I live about 3 hours from my parents and little brother (16), but my sister (32) and her family live in Trondheim as well and I'm very close with them. I have a niece who is 6 years old and a nephew who is 2. They are the light of my life. I want to have a few kids myself one day.

I keep some of my recieved cards on the wall over my bed, and I'm really looking forward to recieving a card from you and hearing from you. You can send and write whatever you like, but if you are completely out of ideas, I would love for you to tell me something that you like about yourself, something about yourself that you are proud of. I think we could all benefit from putting some positivity and self love down on paper once in a while, don't you think?
