Thank you for visiting my profile! Like everyone on this website, I enjoy receiving letters and postcards and I'm looking forward to hearing from all over the world :) I have been quite an active member of this site for more than a year, when I had to take a long break in postcrossing due to my graduation (preceded by lots of exams and writing a paper) and moving to another place afterwards.

Right now I am quite busy writing my PhD thesis in Celtic and Germanic languages at Moscow State University but would love to renew my almost forgotten hobby and get to know more interesting people from the remotest corners of our planet :) I can even send you a postcard back, if you like.

You can write postcards to me in any of the languages listed above, I would be happy to practice them! You may even add a couple of words in your native language (in case it differs from those I'm studying), 'cause - well, have you ever met a linguist who doesn't enjoy funny words written in weird-looking (in his/her humble opinion ;) ) letters?

And now a few words about my interests (please, note: it's a HINT, NOT a must!):

- windmills (a postcard with a nice mill will make my day!);
- bicycles;
- puffins;
- koalas (those funny Australian things!);
- cats and/or dogs;
- recipe postcards with traditional dishes of your country (yummy!);
- or just nice views of your country/town (which I will be using as a holiday inspiration).
