Hi there!

My name is Marieke and I’m 29y old. I live in a small town in the Netherlands, it’s called Voorhout. It’s the first time I’m living on my own and I’m very proud of my own little house. I work as a nurse, currently working in the field of home health nursing. I’m also a freelance dog trainer, part-time dog photographer and I breed a litter of little puppies about once a year.
As you can see, dogs are very important in my life. I have three wonderful dogs of my own: Keira, Floortje & Dex. Their breed is Australian Labradoodle and they are soo cute, cuddly and curious. My other hobbies are reading, watching movies and western horse riding.

I’ll be happy with any card you’ll send me and will of course register them all. If you want any guidelines as to what I’ll enjoy most, please take a look below.

Most of all I’d love to receive I ♥ ... postcards. I have a collection with all kinds of I ♥ ... stuff like mugs and hoodies and I’d love to add some postcards to that collection.

ღ Other animals like Dolphins, Big cats, wild animals etc.
ღ I would love a postcard showing the one place/animal you would want me to see if I would visit your country/town.

The only thing I really (really!) dislike is spiders so please no postcards of these animals. I'm not fond of add-cards or art cards either! And please no cards from another country than your own. So if you live in Asia, please don't send me a card from Europe or the USA please.

I think a real postcard is one that's written and stamped so please don’t use an envelope.

It would be great if you could tell me something about yourself or your life. I love to get to know the person who writes to me a little. In general, I love cards that are full of text. If you're chatty, let me see how much text you can squeeze on a postcard.

I would also love to read a quote that inspires you in your everyday life or that you love for whatever reason. =D

I would love it if you can write the date on the card. I think it's very interesting to know how long a postcard has travelled.

I always try to pick a postcard that matches your wish list or favorites. So make sure your profile is complete. The only thing I refuse to do is sending out unwritten cards.

Stamps are very expensive in my country, so I can only send out a few cards a month. But I'm very loyal to check my mailbox, so don't worry about me not registering a card :-)
