My name is Maybrit and I am 17 years old.
I was born in Germany but I spent my last 6 years living on Gran Canaria and graduating high school.
Now I am starting my studdies in Barcelona: CGI
CGI is VFX Special Effects for Media (Movies, Commercials...) and 3D Animation.
I really like movies, music and books
My favorite music genre is Indie Rock.
I love decorating which is why my room is covered in pictures of my favorite bands :
Two Door Cinema Club, Muse, Foster the People, Arctic Monkeys,B∆STILLE, Imagine Dragons, Bruce Springsteen, HAIM, The Black Keys.
I really recommend their music!
I have seen most of them in concert and I am really glad about that.

My favorite movies: Intouchables, Now you see me, Stuck In Love, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, In Time, Harry Potter( All of them), Toy Story, The Hunger Games, Tomorrow when the war began

The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Fault in Our Stars, The Gem Trilogy by Kerstin Gier

This year I went on a Europe road trip with my dad. We started by travelling from Gran Canaria to Cadiz on a 3 day ferry trip. After that we drove to Lisboa, Portugal where we attended the Optimus Alive 2014 music festival.
We drove through Spain, Portugal, France, Luxembourg, Belguim and Germany up to Hamburg where my parents now live.
I had lots of fun traveling. It is something I really like to do which is why I enjoy postcrossing. For me it is like I get the chance to travel without having to leave my house.

I collect coins, sand, tea, stamps, postcards and puking bags (not used of course) from planes, ships etc.
