Hello fellow Postcrosser!

My name is Marianne and I live in a beautiful town called Groningen, which is situated in the North of the Netherlands.

I have two cats: Merlijn (Dutch for Merlin), he is totally black and Maya who is a black/white tuxedo cat. They are so sweet and naughty. I adore them!

I volunteer as a receptionist in an animal shelter, where we take care of abandoned animals (cats and dogs). This work is my greatest passion.
I also volunteer as a hostess in a RonaldMcDonaldhouse.

In my free time I like to be creative and I like to take care of my plants, flowers and herbs on my balcony and in my house.
Further I like reading books, I am definitely a bookwurm.
And I like visiting thrift stores, l love old stuff haha.

I love Postcrossing because I have always enjoyed picking out the perfect postcard that suits the receiver's interests and personality. It is a great hobby!

📚 Paintings of reading women.
