Hi there!

My name is Maria and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm a Biomedical Sciences student.

Some things about me:
I love figure skating! Synchronized skating skating was big part of my life for 8 years, but I recently had to quit my team due to my study and moving to another city. Other things I love doing are listening to music, playing guitar, photography, travelling and enjoying life with friends. I recently became a member of AEGEE, a European student organisation that organises a lot of events through all of Europe. I'm really looking forward to travelling with AEGEE!
My mother is Russian so I can speak (but not fluently) and understand Russian. I can also read Russian, but that takes lots of effort so I need exercise. So if you're Russian or if you speak Russian, please write your postcard in Russian! I can't write Russian myself, so you'll never get a Russian reply from me. A pity, isn't it?

You can write me something about your country or your personal life if you'd like to. I really like cooking and baking, so feel free to write me a recipe if you want to. :) Or you can write me about your music taste. I like (indie) rock for example. Recently I've been listening to Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine, The Black Keys, Vampire Weekend and Local Natives a lot. I have seen all of these bands live at festivals (and they were awesome!), except for Mumford & Sons. But I'd love to see them play in the future!
