I'm Maria João and I live in a small town near the beach in Portugal.I'm a dreamer and lover of the small things in life. In my free time I go on tumblr, go on walks by the beach or forest, play ukulele and piano, swim and listen to music (a lot).

I really enjoy connecting with people and to receive cards from all over the world. I really love every single card I receive. I'd say a card it's just a card, but you make it unique when you write on it.I value more what you write on it than the image itself. I'd love to hear about how was your day, your favourite things about being alive, your hopes and dreams, your favorite books, movies and bands, hobbies. etc. and if you don't like the idea of talking about such things I'd love to hear about your culture, your town...

- Particular details of urban fabric
- Typical clothes
- PEOPLE
- Cats, dogs, bees - all animals
- Cards with inspirational quotes
- FOOD

I don't really like modern buildings, gun/war realated, adds and multi-imaged ones. Other than that I'm not really picky. And I do love hand made, maxi-cards, and craft cards :)

I really love to do direct swaps, and to receive train tickets, little stones (even sand), tea, and small value coins. If you happen to send me any of those things, I will love to send something to you too :)
