About Margit...

Hello, dear Postcrossers!

My name is Margit, I am from Austria, I live in a town near Salzburg. I am in my fifties and have two grown-up sons. I like to listen to music, to podcasts and to audio books, I love to watch the stars and the moon, I enjoy to go Nordic Walking.

I am looking forward to beautiful and interesting postcards from around the world. I like my postcards to arrive without an envelope (if possible). I prefer handwritten cards with nice stamps. I love it to compare the varying handwritings of different people and countries.

I appreciate each card, because I know it costs effort to choose, to write and to mail the card... it is a process which takes time and money.

If you have no idea for a card, here are some suggestions:

Cards relating to
- aerospace and astronomy
- language
- music
- city views, your town (also typical tourist cards)
- famous buildings, landmarks
- engineering
- interesting facts concerning biology, physics, sciences,...
- festivals of your country, people with traditional clothes
- handmade cards
- nice and humorous (ad) cards,...

If you have a question to a card which I sent out, please don't hesitate to send me a message (for example: what is on the postcard, about the artist, photo taken by..., where I got it...), I will try to answer it.

On July 30, 2018, I received my 1000th card, great!
