I am a retired health care worker. I lived most of my life in Riverview, New Brunswick, but my husband and I retired in our hometown of Amherst, Nova Scotia a number of years ago. I am very active in my community, enjoy reading, visiting with friends and traveling whenever I get a chance. I also enjoy spending time at our beach property located on Nova Scotia's Northumberland Strait (home of beautiful sandy beaches and some of the highest tides in the World). I also like collecting and organizing old family photos.

We have three adult children- a son in Kamloops, British Columbia, a son in Riverview, New Brunswick and a daughter in Kentville, Nova Scotia (my son-in-law is also a Postcrossing member- BobM). As well I am the proud grandmother of seven wonderful grandchildren.

I am interested in receiving postcards from all over the World, and have no real strong preferences. I do enjoy colorful, fun and exciting/out of the ordinary cards, scenic views or famous landmarks in your country and vintage cards-(old buildings, castles, etc.). Got lots of cats cards, so I'll put a hold on those for now! I'm sure I will like whatever you choose to send me!
