About Martin...
I'm retired from a telephony career, in which I travelled all around Alaska. I've also been fortunate to see some of Europe, the Orient, and the Americas, but not enough and not recently. I hope to see more of the world in person, but for now it is a treat to see it in postcards.
Feel free to write in any language. I'm not quick at puzzling them out, but I enjoy the challenge.
I like single photo views best, but you'll also see some collections among my favorites. Wildlife is good, natural scenery, folk culture, unusual perspectives, striking people or architecture, warm human interaction, and hot air balloons ;-) Mostly, though, I like receiving postcards from around the world, so send anything that you enjoy. I'm sure I will, too.

If you take the initiative and mail me a card I promise to mail one back promptly, or you can contact me by email first and make a request. I have a few hundred cards on hand, primarily Alaskan wildlife, city and town views, northern lights, mountains, glaciers, wildflowers, churches, totem poles, native people. Often I take folded notecards and cut them to make postcards, but you can tell me if you would prefer the intact card in an envelope.
