About Martina...

27.9.2014
Dear fellow postcrossers,

I am Martina, a student of Danish and German philology in Prague, the capital of the Czech republic. (That is also the only reason it might take me some time to register a postcard, since I'm not at home every weekend. My apologies.)

This is what I <3 :

- reading and books /my childhood heroes: Harry Potter, Moomins, the Bullerby children, now I read Chuck Palahniuk, Haruki Murakami, Erlend Loe and volunteer in a local library/
- learning new languages (since I am a polyglot-wannabe, haha) perhaps you could join a few words in your own language?
- crafting, painting and upcycling (it's always thrilling to give a new life to an old thing, don't you agree?)
- interior design, decorating and DIY
- fashion, it's history
- growing herbs and flowers //but only able to keep cactuses in my apt.
- animals /cats and kittens, quinea pigs, pandas. I love them all :3
- collecting vinyl records and listening to them
- Scandinavia (and Iceland!), it's nature, landscapes, music, film industry //keeps me fascinated
- watching series.. //Monty Python's Flying Circus, Yes (Prime) Minister, The Mighty Boosh, Black Books//

So if you could send me a card inspired by the list above instead of some boring tourist postcard, it would be great! Anyway, I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I do not mind receiving postcards showing the place/country you live. Actually I'm glad for it :)

(Although I'm not really fond of multiviews. And unfortunately, I do NOT like babies, thank you very much.)

I'm happy for any postcard - even a kitschy one, I swear.
Don't forget to write something nice on your postcard - not just "Many greetings and happy postcrossing!", pretty please.

So, happy postcrossing everyone!
