Hi everyone :)

We are a family with already quite grown kids who would love to exchange cards with people around the world. We would like to connect a country on the map with a real person living there. We have traveled a bit, but mostly around Europe and USA, so the rest of the world is still an enigma. I would love to visit Japan and China, Latin America, Africa at some point. Sometimes I am afraid that time I have left is too short for that. But my hopes are still there :)

Otherwise:

I work at a science museum and collect cards connected to science. We particularly love planes and space rockets or anything to do with space, or science of any kind.

We also like to receive cards with
- cards with iconic/ historic photos, with a history behind them. Like this one: https://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/DE-7596889 or https://rarehistoricalphotos.com
- great people (of your country or any other one)- heroes, fighters for peace, travelers, scientists, politicians, discoverers... especially if they are women!
- wise or funny quotes printed on the card
- current social or political themes
- Black and White and street photography.

- if you don't have a card with any of our preferences, please feel free to send us a card with the map or scenery of your country, preferably a night view :). Christmas cards are welcome, too!

We don´t have a scanner at home, but we do take a picture of your card with the phone. The quality of the result is not giving justice to the beauty of your card, unfortunately. So if you have a chance to upload your card yourself, it will be more beautiful on both your and our wall.

If your card to us is getting expired, please take a contact! And when our card gets expired, we take a contact with YOU and try to send you a new one if you have not recieved it.

07 December 2018. Our card no. 1000 was received by a postcrosser in Finland :) And we received the 1000th card from a postcrosser in Germany. Thank you!

22 May 2018. Despite a long pause in Postcrossing we still manage to be at no. 38 for all Norway. But the first ten are way outside our reach!!

12 August 2015. Today the sent distance became over 1 000 000 km! Thanks to the card sent to Netherlands :)

05 May 2014. Today the first card I sent was received by a postcrosser in USA :)
