My name is Elina and I live in a small town in Southern Finland about two hours drive from Helsinki, the capital. The area is surrounded by forests and lakes and beautiful countryside. I used to live in a bigger town but about seven years ago I decided to return to the place where I grew up. I work in a nursing home and spend most of my days with a bunch of 80-95 year olds. I love my job.

I like the theatre and ballet, enjoy playing TICKET TO RIDE boardgames and follow sports such as figure skating and ice hockey. I also like to travel and my dream is to do the trans-Siberian railway journey from Moscow to Mongolia and China.

You can tell me anything. Try to picture me as a faraway friend who you are sharing your thoughts and experiences with. If you wish, you may incorporate my interests into your message but that is not obligatory (also against the rules of postcrossing).
