Hi there,

My name is Anouk and I'm 23 years old. I'm living in Gouda, an ancient town in the Netherlands. Gouda is very popular for tourists: the famous cheese "Gouda", "stroopwafels" and some highlights like our old town house (Oude Stadhuys) and the Sint Jan (curch). In December we have an event called "Gouda bij Kaarslicht" (meaning "Gouda in Candlelight") and people all over the world are coming in to see how we light up our big christmas tree.

Currently I'm learning to become a teacher in physics. I'm almost done with my study - next year is my last year. Well, I hope so. I already have a job on high school, but I'm not happy how we teach kids in the Netherlands, so I doubt to be a teacher in the future.

I do not have so much time for hobbies, however, I like to read and I like to take photo's. You can see some of my photo's on Flickr. I also play piano (Mad World [Micheal Andrew], Lost [Coldplay] and Fix You [Coldplay]). I'm very interested in the spirituel world so I like to read about that. I also do some yoga. And last but not least: I like to learn about the world and about other cultures.

I'd like to receive lots of postcards from all over the world. But if you don't know what to send, I’d like to receive postcards with:

- Views of your country or city
- Your culture
- Nature
- Horses, dolphins
- Yoga, meditation, Boeddha
- Sea
- Fairies, mermaids
- Children
- Disney, like Winnie the Pooh

I will be even more happier if you send me something from your country, like a teabag or so. You can send your card in an envelope, if you want to. However, send me something that YOU like :)
And if you don't know what to write, I will love it if you write something about that's making you happy, that's inspirational to you. E.G. the nature around your house or your hobby('s).
