Hi! I'm Marieke, 21 years old and study Latin and ancient Greek in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. My hobbies are reading, writing, watching television, listening music, chatting with my little sister and my friends, having fun with friends, sailing, going out and learning new things.

I'm very interessted in other cultures and languages. I'd like it if you write me something about your city/country. Or maybe you can write a couple of words in your native language with an english translation on the postcard.. Or maybe you can write me your favourite quote or most beautiful experience in your life..
You can write me not just in English, but in Dutch, French and German too. Even in Latin or ancient Greek if you like..

Postcards that I like to receive (in order of
- postcards related to the old greecs or romans.. I like everything with myths or art of the classic times
- black-white-photographs with just one object in colour..
- normal black-white-photographs (romance, romance!!)
- photographs of sailingships or other postcards related to sailing..
- postcards with pin-up-girls or erotic postcards (yes, porn can be beautiful)..
- art-drawings (maybe some famous paintings?)
- postcards related to some famous writers of musicians
- postcards related to the old russian communism >> soviets
- photographs of Indians or other domestic, native population groups.. or strange typical customs from your country
- postcards with cute kids on it...

Or postcards related to a person:
- Jeanne d'Arc
- Marilyn Monroe
- Che Guevara

For the dutchmen: The drawings of Fiep Westendorp, like those of 'Jip & Janneke' or 'Pluk van de Pettenflat'

I like postcards with strange forms and different sizes.

But if you absolutely can't find anything like this, I'm OK with a typical tourist-postcard (every country has his own famous building, monument, event..)or a card with just a funny or special texts on it.
I'm a 21-year-old girl, I'm sure you can find something that I like!!

I prefer handwritten postcards with nice stamps on it..
