About Linda...

I am married and mother to 5 grown children one of whom is a 100% disabled veteran of the war in Iraq. We live in the great central valley of California one hour's drive from Yosemite National Park and 2 hours from the Pacific Ocean.

I am most interested in picture postcards of your country or even postcards you've gotten on holiday to another country. Please write something on the card. Perhaps something about your area or your daily life. My husband is retired from the U.S. Air Force and we lived in a small village near Stuttgart, Germany for 3 years in the 1970s.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, needlework, playing games, making friends on Facebook and television mysteries.

I recently received a lovely postcard from Germany. It was a postcard of the sender's holiday in Greece. When I put in the ID number it was wrong. The number was written as DE 482030.

I will like any card you send but especially enjoy those with the name of your country on the front or one with folk art from your culture especially national and ethnic clothing. If you are in the Ukraine I'm especially interested in Petrikivka painting. Belarus has some lovely postcards sold by their post office.
