About Marianne...
10 years ago, at the age of 65, my husband and I retired to Portland, Oregon, USA. I was born in Chicago, Illinois,USA, and had lived most of my life in that area. I have 3 grandchildren, twins aged 15, and grandson 11 and granddaughter 7. They are our future and I try to be close to them. My hobby is calligraphy, and I am committed to keep writing by hand alive, especially beautiful writing. I won the Oregon Historical Society Diary contest in 2013. Oregon is a beautiful state, and we love to walk and hike in its natural areas. I garden and love to cook.
