I live with my husband, a teacher, and two daughters (9 and 13 years) in a village close to Canterbury. We are all avid readers, have far too many books and can't stop buying more.

I like dance (especially ballet), cooking, ancient history (particularly Egyptian), wildlife (otters, bats, elephants & bears are my favourite), reading, cross-stitch, folk and fairy tales, and music (I play the flute & sing in a choir).

I work part time at a nursery school and also help to run the local Rainbow unit (Guiding for girls aged 5 to 7).

I'm happy to receive any postcard although I particularly like animals & wildlife, churches & cathedrals, dance, books, maps, recipe cards, Miffy and aerial views.
