About Jelena...

I am Jelena. I come from Serbia and I live in Nuremberg, a beautiful city in Germany. I am 33 years old and I am a master immunobiologist by profession. I also work as a pediatric nurse and I adore my jobs. In my free time I like to read and draw. I am passionate about traveling but I am not able to travel much at the moment, so I enjoy exchanging postcards with you-my friends from all over the world. I really like to meet and work with lots of different people. I am person with a good sense of humor.

What type postcards am I interested in?
I love all postcards, for me each postcard is special in its own way and each carries a part of us, because we chose, decorated and wrote it.

If you're at a loss for what to send me, here are some ideas (NOT REQUIRED) :)
* Anything to do with art/graphic design or photography
* Books/literature/recipes
* Plants/nature/forests
* Street art
* Subcultures (grunge/hipster/punk/rockabilly/etc)
* Angels
* Map cards
* "Off-season" cards (winter scenes in summer, summer scenes in winter, etc.) It's always nice when a card puts you in that "vacation" state of mind, especially on a busy work day!
* Any card with a good "story" behind it!
But of course I´m happy about every card I receive!

In your postcards, feel free to write about whatever you like. I would be interested to learn something about you yourself, your life and your country or region, maybe you also have some great traditional and typical food you want to write about.

Also, it would be great if you write some words in your own language (with translation). I am always keen to get to know other countries and cultures.

Please write the date on the card you are sending to me. Also, I collect beautiful stamps, so if you have some beautiful ones, feel free to put special or extraordinary stamps on your card :)

Other than that, I love tourist cards, free cards (but please write something on them or include a pretty stamp!), handmade cards, greeting cards in an envelope, anything really! I also LOVE private swapping, as well as little surprises such as stickers, patches, coins/paper currency, ticket stubs, really any small pieces of life that you'd like to share. None of these things are mandatory, of course :)

Peace, love and happy postcrossing!

Jelena
