About Stéphanie...

Dear globe-writers,

My name is Stéphanie, I live in Burgundy ("Bourgogne") you know : great wines ...delicious food , not only snails :-). I have 2 children, a boy named Félix (10) and a girl named Violette (7).
We live in a small town with a mining past.
I've been bookseller for 6 years with my own bookshop. Now I'm housewife (not desperate !). I want to have the time to do many things (but the time flies fast) : knitting, sewing, making home-made yogurts and jams, learning about essential oils... I'm very interesting in natural health. I llike cooking. Currently I like to make a French pastry named "cannelé" (or "canelé") with vanilla and rum. It's an old recipe created by nuns near Bordeaux.
With my family, we live in a house with a big garden, with flowers, trees, vegetables. We have a rabbit and a dog, a French pointer ("Braque Français") named Scout, he's young and crazy. We would have hens and goat a day. To be autonomous, a big dream !

It's just fabulous to have news from the world with postcards ! But I don't like our globalized world. So I prefer ta receive a postcard with something special of your country, your city. With your own artists, your history, your singers, actors, your illustrators (I love children books), with your vegetation, your "Art of bathing" (soaps, baths, spa, hammam...). Your "tea ceremony". Or your culinary traditions, or your places of worship...

I'm very curious to discover your message too : you could write about a book or a movie that you like, for example. Or about your dream(s), your fear(s), or your favorite word in your language...
(But...Please no cards written with a SINGLE sentence, like "Happy Postcrossing" or "Greetings from").

See you soon,
« À vos plus belles plumes », ladies and gentlemen !

Stéphanie ( June 2022)
