Hello dear Postcrosser,

we are Astrid (53) & Lucy (23) from Dresden / Germany. Our common hobbies are travelling and collecting postcards from all over the world.
As well, we like listening to "Discworld"-books by Terry Pratchett on audio in the evening. We planed to hike every weekend in nature around Dresden - and when we can make it, we enjoy it very much.

About Lucy: I enjoy watching British (Heritage) TV-series, Harry Potter, as well as Bollywood, and I´m quite interested in the historical period of the Roaring Twenties. I study History of Art and Anglistics at university and in the evening, I work as dance teachers' assistant in a school for couple dancing. I learnt Latin for 5 years and started learning Hindi, for that I spent some time doing a course in Delhi. At the moment, I take a course in Chinese (but I`m still a bloody beginner...).

About Astrid: I like hiking, gardening, drawing, sketching, collecting stamps, stones, clams and archeological objects. I enjoy spending my spare time in nature. I love Gothic architecture. For some years I have been discovering a new hobby for me: taking part in postcrossing together with my daughter. Often we write together and read the answers.
