Hi there, I am a Romanian who moved to The Netherlands. I live in Zaandam and work in Amsterdam within the intellectual property field. I moved right into a fairy tale of a city (Zaandam) that smells constantly like chocolate (there is a factory there), has gingerbread-like houses and lots of peace and quiet and friendly people. When I'm in the mood to switch to more animated, entertaining activities I spend my time in Amsterdam. I very much enjoy reading, travelling and cooking. I have recently started learning Dutch and I would also like to take on some salsa lessons. In my spare time I am always up for museums visits, drinks and looooong loong walks, just exploring new places. Laughter is my religion and my medicine.

I would like to know one of your traditional sayings ( write it in your language but do explain the meaning) and/or your favorite traditional dish :) Cheers !
