About Dina...

Hi, I am Dina and I live in beautiful Pittsburgh PA. I am married with two sons I love to travel and have been to Canada, Mexico,England, Spain and Portugal. I work for the US Postal Service! I have three dogs, all shelter rescues (I'd have cats but 3 out of 4 of us are highly allergic)
I love any card but if you are looking for ideas:

Animals(Polar bears, pandas, tigers, flying squirrels, snails, hippos & other big cats are some of my favorites but any animal is fine and zoo cards too!

Sports related-hockey, soccer, or any unique sport to your country- like hurling

Flags/maps

Dragons-Lunar New Year animals/themes

Tapestries (my favorite -Unicorn tapestries in the Cloisters in NY)

Carousels or animals on the carousels

Universal Movie Monsters or Bigfoot (Yeti,Sasquatch whatever he is called in your country) or other cryptozoology creatures

Hot Air Balloons/Ferris Wheels/Swings

Mushrooms/Gardens (flowers, benches, windows, doorways, trees etc)

Pokémon- my sons love them- Muppets, cartoons etc

I don't mind if the postcard is handmade and appreciate it if it was a photograph you took yourself of your city, buildings or something you think is beautiful!

Please tell me something about yourself, your city, or the postcard you sent. Don't try too hard to fulfill my requests, I am happy to receive any card you like!

If you have sent me a card and it expired, please contact me after it expires with the number and I will register it. I know that you have spent money and time to send me something. I have had several arrive to me after the 60 days and do register everything as soon as I receive it but I do not want anyone to have a negative experience if I can help it! I know how disappointed I am when I see that my cards expire. I used to send a second card but many people just stop postcrossing and it got too expensive so I am just letting them go and hope they show up some day and we will all wonder what journey the card had!

I sometimes send more than one card if I find I have more than one of your favorites (and you haven't received it already). I do check both your received and favorites lists. I print my return address as a requirement. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to return one as a thank you.

Don't feel intimidated by my favorites list- use it or not. I don't mind duplicates, I share with friends and family. My favorites are ones I like, both received and a wish list if you choose to use it as such.

I apologize to those who request no envelope and try to fulfill such requests but sometimes the card is small or special and I want it to have a chance to get there! The postal machinery has a terrible habit of damaging cards in the high speed sorting.

I am not interested in swaps per se but if you happen to see a card on my wall, drop me an email and if I have it, I will be happy to get your address and send it to you.
Dina
