Welcome to my profile.My name is Loesje(dutch for Louise)i was born in Amsterdam.I was married to Holger,he was born in Berlin Germany,Holger suddenly past away in december 2012.Together we've visit in 2007 Canada.Mahone Bay in Nova Scotia and Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Since 1994 i am living on a houseboat (14X4 meters plus a part split level 3X4) 15 kilometers up North of Amsterdam,in a small village.

Making cards and ATC-cards,knitting,embroderie, reading,photography are the things i do.Every week i visit second hand stores nearby.In front of the boat i've got a small garden.At the back a windmill built in 1554,named "Neckermolen."E-Mail with friends and familie overseas is also one of the favorite things i do.I collect Elephants,also Elephant cards.

"Fantasia" from Walt Disney is my favorite DVD.I follow "Eastenders" from the beginning and "Dittsche" on sunday evening on WDR, Germany.

Any kind of card that you pick for me,is welcom.With or without an envelope.Mostley the 10X15 cm cards because my panorama album is almost full and also the album for the big cards.Plus the weight of all those cards i live on a houseboat,remember,ha ha.I love Limmericks and cards from painters like Dali,Escher,Carl Larsson,Jenny Nystrom,Lennart Helje,Sulamith Wulfing,Beatrix Potter and Oleg Shupliak and many others.Jugendstil( Art Nouveau).Also handmade cards and Christmas cards.If you have nothing else than a Christmas card in Juli, if you want to send it, not a problem.Every time when there's a card in the mailbox it's funtime.

The first card i'd received was from Christy who lives in Louisiana.My name is Louise Christina,so my first postcrossing card i'll never forget.

Something funny happend.In Januari 2014 i had to send a card to a person in Finland her name is Anu.So the card came on the eight of Januari.In the message she wrote me that she'll run the Rotterdam marathon in April.I wrote to her some web sites and an adres for a B&B in Amsterdam.On the 26th of April 2014 i was with my sister(also a postcrosser) in a small museum nearby and we told the girl in the museum about postcrossing.So my sister tells her,i had a card from Finland and the woman ran the Rotterdam Marathon and had a B&B in Amsterdam.Her name is Anu.Is this amazing?My sister and i both live on a houseboat on the same dike with 2 boats between us.
