Hello World! I'm LOES

Since I got an iPad (at my 80st birthday 2012) I 'run' this post crossing account without help from my daughter.j

(BUT I cannot scan the cards ... IF you are able to do so... PLEASE SCAN the cards for me... THANX so much!)

So: this is LOES:
85 years young and stll going strong .
I like to make new contacts and to write with people all over the world.

In the early sixties I lived with my (also Dutch) husband for a few years is Switzerland. First in Basel, and the last three years in Zurich.
I was a secretary for over 40 years. I worked at a bank, for American companies and at a school in Amsterdam. We have only one child: Vreni and no grandchildren.
When we retired (late nineties) we left Amsterdam and lived in Spain (La Nucia, near Benidorm), where we had some wonderful years. In 2000 we came back to Holland, bought a house in the southern, touristic part and I started a small B&B, which I closed January 2016.
My husband became 84 years old and died in 2009.
But I love reading, watching interesting television programs on BBC and on ARD and ZDF (Germany), so I'm still in the middle of life!

I speak fluent English and German. I have friends in Switzerland who I know for over 45 years and with whom I still write!
