Hello everybody, my name is Liz! I live in the Netherlands and I’m 37 years old. I’m a teacher. I join ‘postcrossing’ because I think it is a beautiful surprise to receive lovely cards in your mailbox with a little text from a person you don’t know from a country maybe far far away.

I like to receive cards with landscapes, cityviews, royal families, US state maps, scenes from your country / city, maps postcards, historical areas / UNESCO sites, art and culture. These are subjects I like for sure, but actually I like every postcard from a person who takes the time to write something nice on the back of the postcard.

I would love it if you could tell me something about you or your country or about your postcard, especially if you write something in your own language (and translate it to English if possible) or write your favorite quote! Also, if you could, please write the date on your postcard. If you don’t know what to write, maybe you can tell me something about your favourite book, film or music. Feel free to recommend me something to read, to watch and so on. I am open to everything new!
