My name is Lana. I'm an editor and a template designer, specializing in scholarly and educational publications, and currently I am also getting a Master's degree in Journalism. I live in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. My pronouns are she/they.

The main thing you should know about me — I love books and stories. They are my life, my air, things I can't live without. My favourites are fantasy and science fiction, though sometimes Regency period dramas interfere in this close circle)) My all-time obsessions are anything Harry Potter related (loyal Ravenclaw here!) and Pride&Prejudice.

I love music. I think it's one of the greatest things the mankind could create, and personally I explore and discover the world around firstly by sounds and music. I absolutely adore rock music and believe this is the most versatile of all the genres. I am a big fan of Canadian alternative rock band 'Three Days Grace', and British rock band 'Queen'. Also once a year I become a crazy fan of Eurovision :D

I like TV-shows. This is a passion, even addiction of mine. I'm a big fan of Doctor Who (the modern version), Lucifer, Shadowhunters, Sherlock, Bridgerton, Outlander, Umbrella Academy... Honestly, anything sci-fi, fantasy, history dramas related — love it!! And probably have already watched most of the popular TV-shows of these genres, so feel free to choose whatever your heart desires. :)

I like art. I try to paint in my free time, but I am really not good at it, unfortunately. It doesn't stop me from admiring art though! Not really that much into modern art or realistic-looking one (even if it's like the greatest, most famous pieces of all time), but very fond of postimpressionism, expressionism, symbolism. I enjoy most the works by Vincent van Gogh and Russian artist Mikhail Vrubel.

You can send me postcards considering the things mentioned above, or you can send me something on topics from the list in brackets (vintage-related stuff (smth from publishing and music especially); flowers (daisies and forget-me-nots), mountains; baked goods, sweets; cats, bunnies, hamsters; something related to knitting, patchwork; history of fashion and graphic design).

Don't know what to write about? Tell me about the last book you've read, last movie/TV-show you've watched, last song you've heard, even the last meal you've had :D
I will also be glad if your postcard contains a few interesting words in your language. And don't forget to write the date!

I always register received postcard the day it came into my mailbox. If the postcard you sent shows as expired, please don't be shy to message me with postcard's number to register it. The world is a complete chaos right now, and my country is not really the most politically stable and foreigners-friendly at the moment, so incidents can occur.
