I really enjoy Postcrossing because I have always loved snooping for all kinds of postcards in any must haves boutique, card shop, museum, warehouse or design shop from wherever I visit or travel.
My AVATAR shows a piece of an elongated moss painting in my livingroom.
I am a wife, mother of two sons, mother-in-law, grandmother of a granddaughter and a grandson, retired management assistant and I do a lot of informal care and volunteer work.
The first thing I do every morning is turning on the radio and drink a mug of tea listening to music.
I love to hear and see people laughing, I love to see and hear children playing, I like watching good NETFLIX or BBC series when I can, I love to drink Nespresso coffee especially Arpeggio and
I really enjoy eating good food prepared at home or dining at a restaurant preferably Asian or French.
We also enjoy traveling and try to combine nature, culture, history and relaxation wherever we go.
On our beautiful planet we have already visited:
Ireland, Scotland, England, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Vatican City, Canary Islands, Egypt, Mauritius, UAE, Brasil, Dominican Republic, Curaçao &
Australia (states: Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales)
USA (states: Florida, Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaï)
Canada (state: British Columbia)
What makes me smile every time:
Maps / Cartography
Geometry in Nature
Maze / Labyrinth
Postcrossing for me is sending and receiving real and fully handwritten postcards.
I am not a stamp collector but the front of the card and your words can really make me happy!
When I send cards I always try to choose a card that will be appreciated by the receiver.
For me: Please try to avoid AD cards, Touchnote cards, Touristic cards, City view cards,
Multi view cards, Homemade cards or Seasonal cards.
I will send Touristic cards or Seasonal cards if a postcrosser requested it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
