About Linraen...

Hi all!

I'm a 27-year-old journalist from a town near Moscow. Not much else to say about me, so straight to what I'd love to receive. =)

I'm a fan of FOLK MUSIC, especially Celtic/Gaellic, Norse, and Native American types. But anywhere in the world you are, I'll appreciate it if you send me a card related to the folk music of your country.

MYTHOLOGY, LEGENDS and TALES of all kinds are a perfect idea. Whether they're Greek myths, Egyptian papyrus-style paintings, fairytales (fairies are a particular obsession), ghost stories, Buddhist koans or whatever else you've got - send it to me. (One small thing: please avoid Orthodox Christian icons, I think they're creepy. Sorry.)

ORIENTAL CULTURES (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean etc.) are something I find very enigmatic, deep and interesting. I love traditional Japanese drawings/etchings, in particular, but I'll be as happy to receive anything related to any of those cultures.

My native town is something of a hub of aircraft development and construction (we even hold biannual international airspace shows called the MAKS), so I've got something of an inborn interest in AIRCRAFT and SPACE - so it's a good idea to send me something of the kind.

DOCTOR WHO is a recent, but very strong obsession. I would love to receive a Doctor Who-themed card, especially from the UK. Collecting all of the "Postcards from Time and Space" series is a dream that I hope postcrossing will help me fulfill. =)

If you've found nothing of the above, you can always send me a postcard with a VIEW. I prefer beautiful natural views, and those of ruins and old architecture, to all new and shiny megapolis views, but in the end, I'll appreciate anything. Also, if possible, avoid multiview cards, but again, if those are the only ones you have - they are perfectly fine, too.

And, I know I've already asked for much, but if it's at all possible to attach a COIN from your country to your postcard, that would make me ever the happier. It could be of whatever tiny value, it could even be an old one out of circulation. You can put it an envelope with the card, or simply stick or glue it to the card.

Thank you for taking the time to send a card to me. =)

Happy postcrossing everyone!
