About Allison...

Note 1: Elly from The Netherlands. I received your card NL 4540365 yesterday (10 Jan 21) but sadly I can’t register it because it is older than 365 days. Thankyou for the wonderful card, I love it.

Note 2: I read a profile recently where the person requested the picture of the card to be taken with a background. I loved this idea so much I have started (Nov 20) doing it with cards I send. It lets people see a little more about where I live. It would be great if you could do the same and take a photo of your card with something in the background.

It has been a couple of years since I joined Postcrossing, I thought it was time to update my profile.
It has been so wonderfull to send and receive postcards from all over the world. Especially in these times of Covid 19 with many boarders closed and limited air travel.
I enjoy reading, sewing and gardening. I live on a farm and love the native wildlife - waking up to the birds chirping and going to sleep listening to the frogs and crickets outside.
I also enjoy watching football (soccer) particularly European football - I follow PSG and Bayern Munich.
I speak English but I am also currently learning French.
I like all types of postcards - but if you would like some suggestions I like:

- Postcards that represent your country or town
- icon of where you live or your country
- well known buildings
- pictures of your country or town
- pictures of people going about their day
- something that represents your lifestyle or the things you like to do.

Other postcards
- vintage
- artistic
- cute
- animals

I also love to read the message on each card, tell me about your day, your dreams, your achievements and the challenges that made you who you are today.
