About Lidewij...

Hello postcrosser,
My name is Lidewij, 55 years old, I live in an old town in the east of the Netherlands, and I am working in a bookstore, specialized in children's books.

I like reading (of course!), writing, walking, cycling, photography, collecting stamps, visiting musea and theater. I am interested in (children's) books, book-illustrations, history, art-history, museums, architecture, old buildings like castles or churches, maps, cats and much more. You see: I am rarely bored!

I see myself as a non-binary person, but it's no problem if you see me as a woman. I have a woman's body and a woman's name and I still think 'them' sounds very strange. In the Dutch language that is also a plural form and of course I am only one person. ;-)

Every postcard is welcome!
I will like it when you write some words in your native language.

If you don't know what sort of postcard you will sent, I have some suggestions:
- illustrations of children's books
- cats
- castles or other old buildings
- maps
- stamps
- city-view or landscape of your hometown / country
- comics / cartoons
- art (paintings)

If you don't have such a postcard, don't worry! They are just suggestions an I will be happy with every postcard. I love it when I come home and there's mail in my mailbox. I immediately look curiously to see who has written to me from which country. And to see what postcard you chose for me.

Thanks for sending your postcard! I'm trying to register your card the day I receive it.

Greetings from the Netherlands / groeten uit Nederland,
Lidewij
