About Valeria...

Hello everyone!

My name is Valeria, I am a 25 y.o. English teacher living in Tver city located 160 km north of Moscow.

There are so many things I enjoy doing, so I don`t know where to start. Above all, I try to practice slow living and enjoy every moment of my life. I usually start my day taking care of my plants and doing yoga in my garden to breathe in some fresh air and feel better. After having a delicious breakfast and a huge cup of coffee (I do love cooking and I am a coffee addict), I usually have online lessons with my students. Then, I will have some kind of activity, I tend to get exercise at the gym or go for a walk in a park. If I have free time in the evening, I prefer to wrap up in a blanket and read a book while sipping a hot beverage. Sometimes I go dancing bachata outdoors in the city or meet a friend.

What is your daily routine like? Are you more an active or passive person? What things do you enjoy doing? I am looking forward to getting to know you!

As you could guess from the info above, my hobbies are the following:
* cooking
* plants & gardening
* reading books
* arts (a huge fan of renaissance and impressionism)
* dancing bachata
* doing yoga
* riding a bicycle
* spending really cozy hygge-like evenings indoors & outdoors
* watching the seasons changing
* travelling

Speaking about travelling, I used to travel abroad before the pandemic and managed to visit the following countries:
* Ukraine
* Latvia
* Estonia
* Greece
* Spain
* Canada
* Hungary
* Germany

Now I travel around Russia from time to time and have been to many places already. For example, in June 2021, I travelled to the world known Baikal Lake and it amazed me a lot! It is the most beautiful place I have visited so far!

As for postcards, I find it fascinating to read stories from people all around the world and to see a beautiful picture on the front side. I will be happy to receive any kind of postcard, but these will make me feel over the moon:
*Christmas & New Year cards are so very welcomed this time of year!
*autumn mood: pumpkins, Halloween, golden leaves, trees, autumn cities, hot drinks & foods
*cozy hygge-like postcards
*moon, stars, constellations
*amazing castles and cathedrals
*arts (renaissance, impressionism, modern art)
*nature (forests, mountains, rives, lakes, oceans etc)
*animals
*flowers & plants
*fruit, berries, nuts and veggies
*tea, coffee, all kinds of cups
*cards connected to foods and cooking
*books, libraries, reading
*writing letters

Thank you for having read so many words!

P.S. Hola todo el mundo hispanohablante! No tengáis miedo de enviarme las postales en español por favor! Me alegro muchísimo de leer cualquier historias en español.

P.P.S. I would like to have a pen pal with whom I could exchange letters and discuss books, films, arts, gardening and other things. So if you feel like we have a lot in common, let me know, I'll be happy to exchange letters with you.
