My name is Olena, I'm 40-something :) I live in Kyiv, it is very ancient and beautiful city. Since my childhood I adore cross-stitching and especially national Ukrainian embroidery. A year ago I started to cross-stitch my first national shirt, we call such shirt "vyshyvanka" (lack of free time does not allow me to finish it soon, but I will do my best ! :)).
To own hand-made emroidered (or cross-stitched) shirts is an ancient Ukrainian tradition as such shirts are considered to be your life-guardians and some-kind of mascots.

My hobbies are sewing, cross-stitching, flower-growing and, sure, postcrossing, also I collect mint = non-cancelled stamps about birds and animals.
