About Elke...

My name is Elke and I'm a 27 year old kindergarten teacher from Germany. I work with children who are between 2 and 6 years old and I absolutely love it. Everyday is different and it's always a lot of fun, to go to work, without knowing, what will happen.
I live with my husband and my mother in a small village close to Celle. I love to read and watch movies.

It's a ritual by now, to go to the mailbox, hoping to find a new lovely postcard in there. When I send a card, I always try to pick one, the person would like to receive. That can be a bit complicated sometimes (especially when the person didn't post a wishlist). And because I noticed, that it is really easier to pick something, when I know what the person would like to receive, is here a small wishlist of cards I like the most:

*cards with art by Nicoletta Ceccoli, I adore her images
*surrealism
*single trees
*hearts
*something that depicts "loneliness"
*photoshopped images
*illustrations
*Inge Löök's "old ladies"
*cupcakes
*dandelions and daisies (but please no other flowers)
*colorful cards
*books
*artistic photography (I don't mean artistic nude photography! It's hard to describe... something you'd hang as a big print on your wall)

If you have the time, you can also look at my favs (I always try to keep the list down to two pages, so it's not that much to look at). That are all cards I don't have yet. So if you'd be able to send me one of these or a similar one, you'd make me really really happy :)
If you have nothing of the above, just pick one you'd like to receive yourself.
But please don't send ad/commercial cards, greeting cards, handmade cards or photos.

It would be really great, if you could add your favorite quote and some sentences about yourself or the city where you live on the card!

I'd like to receive the postcards handwritten and with a stamp, not in an envelope.
Makes it way more personal and unique. And it only shows the long way the card had to travel, if it is a bit damaged :)
