The insect on my hand is a European stag beetle (Lucanus cervus). I love all creatures that visit my garden.
I retired end 2018, having worked in IT for almost 30 years.
I have always loved travelling. Andorra was the latest of the countries I visited. What a beautiful place.
I love music : ethnic, fado, jazz, classical, polyphony, 70's pop and much more.
I like crossword puzzles and playing billiards..
I practice transcendental meditation. I am a highly sensitive person and introvert, so I don't fit in at every social activity, but I have experienced that Postcrossing meetups bring me no discomfort. On the contrary. Communicating and connecting with people from all around the world through Postcrossing, is so much fun. This is a great initiative.
Reading is my big hobby: thrillers and fantasy are my favorites but I love to read a spiritual book from time to time.

I am not picky on the subject of the card, but I have a slight preference for :
👍 a touristic view of your city or village or region, I equally love city views and nature.
👍 Unesco World Heritage Sites
👍 art in all its forms. Self made is welcome, I consider that art too.
👍 everything LGBTQ+ related.
👍 Postcrossing meetup cards
👍 A card cut out of food (or non-food) packaging, if solid enough to send.
Basically, any card will make me happy, especially if you fill it with a personal story. I don't have a "not done" list.
Due to poor eyesight I prefer single views.
IMPORTANT : The place I live in is very small : my address does not contain street name or house number. Don't worry, it is complete !
