Hallo, moin moin, guten Tag or just: Hey!

After a long period of inactivity I rejoined the Postcrossing community. This time it's with a special purpose in addition to the fun. What's the purpose? I'm a trainee in a bookstore and just recently came into a new section of my bookstore - the travel section. I really like to decorate my surroundings so I thought it would be immense fun to decorate the travel section with postcards from all around the world. It's also a great opportunity to show people the great diversity there is in the world.

If you want to send me a postcard, I'd love to get a picture related to your country, paintings or arts. If you want to do me a favour: Please don't put them in an envelope and no greeting cards, just plain and simple traditional postcards, please. Feel free to tell me something about your culture; what makes the place you live in special for you; or what in your city would be worth checking out if one would visit there.
If you love reading as much as I do you also can tell me the name of your favourite book and what it's about.

I can read in German, English and also a bit Dutch but feel free to write in your own language if you feel more comfortable with it, anyway it will be nice to find out what you wrote if I couldn't read it!
I personally I'm a huge fan of Japan!

I'm looking forward to get your postcard! And so will be the customers of our bookstore who will admire your postcards when I start my project!
