About Le_Cygne...

Hello postcrossers !

So, I guess you are on my profile because I'll receive a postcard from you =)

My name is Valentine, I'm 25 and I'm passionate about culture! I enjoy going to the cinema, theatre, reading novels... And I always want to learn more about culture&traditions from all over the world.

You can tell me whatever you want on the card, but here are a few hints if you need inspiration :

- What's your favorite book? Write a sentence from that book!
- What was the last movie you saw? Did you like it?
- Is there a tradition in your country you'd like to share?
- What is your favorite spot in your city?
- Or just... Draw something =)

But, please!, do write a few words in your own language by the end of the card... It can be anything you want, something you say a lot, a sentence from a famous person you appreciate, ...

Concerning the card itself... My favorites are vintage postcards, the kind of card we find at the flea market, but I know this can be hard to find so don't worry :). I also enjoy card with famous paintings (impressionism being my favorite), with nice monuments from your surroundings (I don't know why people tend to not send me monument cards, if you have one please do!), cards related to books&authors, black&white or sepia photographies, drawings... I'm also interested in Années folles/Golden Twenties themed cards!

I don't like free ad and photo-paper cards much.

Special request : if you find a postcard with a black and white photography showing a man and a dog, don't hesitate and pick it up for me!

Those are juste some preferences, if you want to send me something else, it is more than okay, I love surprises ! =)

Thanks for reading! I'm sure I'll love what you'll send me
