About Elena...

Hello, everyone!
My name is Elena. I live in Novosibirsk where summer is hot, winter is cold and snowy, autumn is golden, and spring is in bloom.
I like reading, watching films (especially shorts and animated ones), listening to classics, jazz, and britpop, but most of all, learning new things. That's why I work as a teacher.
I will be glad to receive any card from anywhere.

If you, like me, hate making choices and taking decisions, here are some tips for you about the sort of cards I would like to receive:
- history, traditions and culture of your country, well-known people of your country;
- architectural monuments and landscapes of your home town or your country;
- cards typical of your country (even flowers are pictured differently in different cultures not to speak about traditional greetings);
- your favourite fairytale or cartoon characters;
- everything connected with languages and linguistics (alphabets, puns, jokes, proverbs - everything);
- everything connected with science and technology (famous scientists and inventors, especially from your country; scientific discoveries and inventions, scientific equipment, laboratories, quotes about science and technology, jokes about science and scientists, scientific and engineering drawings, etc);
- optical illusions, mind teasers, puzzles;
- humour or anything you find funny;
- something that caught your eye when you were choosing a postcard.

I don't even dare to dream of receiving a maxicard, card made from a photo you've taken or by your own hands.

I wish you to receive cards you like and thanks from people you send your cards to.
Happy postcrossing!
