About Laura...

***I received a postcard from the US (Beaver 15009) with out a name or ID. It shows a statue in versailles gardens. You wrote about your work and how you were working different shifts at the moment.***

***I recently reactivated my account so that I'm also receiving postcards again. Little did I know… at the moment I get around 20 postcards a day and struggle to keep up with registering them. Contact me if you feel your card should have already arrived, and I'll check the pile. ***

News Years’s 2022/23: As I always try to write a few lines before bed to calm my mind, I have the resolution to write one postcard every day this year. I will write them at night before I head to bed and send them along their way the following day or so. Unsure if I’ll be able to keep it up, but eager to welcome this new routine into my day.

September 2022: Just returning to Postcrossing after a pause of almost an year. We welcomed our second baby to our family in April and life has just been so so busy with two girls under two. Life is now settling into its new routines and I get to welcome postcrossing back into my before-bed-writing.

I live very close to a big city, Köln, in the west of Germany. I can see the amazing cathedral from our window.

I’m married and my wife and I have two amazing daughters, 2 and 9 month old.

I love having green things around me. I love trees: big, old, tall,... it really doesn’t matter. And yes, I do hug them every now and then!

I love to participate as well as observe art and artsy projects as well as anything to do with drama and theater. I sell some of my own art and crafts on Etsy. Feel free to check it out: WildBunt.etsy.com

I have been a vegetarian since I was seven years old and I’m always interested in new and special recipes from all over the world. As I have a big sweet tooth desserts always goes.
Normally, I teach high school students English, Art and Drama and I love my job even though it can be very challenging sometimes, but at the moment I’m on maternity leave taking care of my family.

I welcome and treasure every postcard, but if you're wondering what to send, here are some ideas:
- Trees
- Handmade/self-made cards
- funny or wise words
- art and artsy photography
- anything New Zealand
- The Queen, also now King Charles, even better with matching stamps
- seascapes, ocean scenery, beautiful landscapes, flowers, sunsets or sunrises.... pretty much nature in general
- books in general (children's (picture) books as well as Harry Potter and Dr. Suess have their own little corner in my heart)

I’d love to hear about your life and what you’re doing. What made you smile today?
