Hey there,

I'm Simone, 28 from Aachen in Germany. I'm a student of social work and I work in an youth home for underage refugees. I love meeting friends, doing sports and going for a walk with my two dogs: a dalmatian and a dachshund mix named yannik and findus. I haven' t been able to travel to a lot of countries yet but it's definitely on my list. I love having friends from all around the world and I'm very interested in different cultures...

I have a big world map in my living room where I pin all the nice postcards I receive, as kind of an close up view of the region

- therefor I would love to receive cards showing
your city, places, buildings, skylines, unesco sites, maps or typical things of your country's culture like native! animals. I also like the 'greetings from' series and so far I only have one from the Netherlands.

I'd be so happy if you'd give some words in your own language with meanings! And please tell me what is shown on the card if it's not already been printed. If you don't know what to write, you can tell me your recipe for a local food, tell me about your favourite places or what you would show a visitor...
I would be so excited If you added some little things like used tickets or coins or put different stamps etc., and all of that makes it to my wall xD

- other things I like are cut-out cards, wider or maximum cards, black and white with or without couloured accents or with embossment, "keep calm..." cards, love themes/romantic, anne taintor, camilla d'errico!!, and anything rose/pink xD, water and sea/lakes/rivers and bridges, waterfalls, disney bambi and mowgli, moomin, misstigri. i also like lalu sun moonlake, temples, cherry blossoms, japanese gardens, lotus, hello kitty, sentimental circus, mamegoma, mymelody, gotochi and anything like that :D
I know some of them are more expensive so if you want to, I will send you a card of your choice or with limited stamp in return :)
(Also don't ever hesitate to ask for a private swap if you like a card I've been sending or are interested in the region I live).

...cards send from it's origin will make my day, you don't need one of the the next big/capital city!
