There is a war going on here
So, it's been a 3171 days since Russia started the war. Russia's full-scale invasion of our Ukraine began 245 days ago. It’s impossible to believe that this could happen in the 21st century in a European country. It is impossible to justify Putin's false arguments for bombing peaceful cities and killing people, killing innocent children!
I hear air raid sirens almost every day. I'm hiding underground from Russian missiles and Iranian drones. I cry for thousands of dead Ukrainians. It hurts me to see destroyed cities and villages.
But I am in relative safety. I'm not afraid. I’m so impressed getting hundreds of messages of postcrossers from different countries with so many kind words! Thank you, dear generous people of the world who support Ukrainians! I’m deeply touched.
Ukraine will resist! I believe in our army and our citizens! But we need the support of the whole civilized world now so much!
