About Kumpetar...

I am an English teacher in a Finnish upper secondary school. I live in a little town of 10,000 people in Central Finland with my husband. We have two children (24 and 22 years old) who have moved to other cities to study.

My hobbies include many outdoor activities like geocaching, scouting, ice swimming and skiing. I also like Latino music and zumba and learning Spanish. Whenever possible I like to travel abroad and learn about new cultures.

I appreciate all kinds of postcards but I would especially like to receive pictures of your country's nature. As I am a teacher, it would be nice to get a postcard related to school or teaching. It would also be a great surprise to get a geocaching or a scouting postcard.

I would also like to get Christmas and birthday cards in December.

It would also be nice if you wrote something in your native language.

Important message to Sinfare in Lithuania:
I just (25th September, 2017) received a card which was stamped on 16th September, 2017. However, the date you had written on the card was 26th April, 2016. As it was over a year ago, I could not register it anymore. I wonder how it is possible that it took over a year for the card to arrive, but thank you anyway!
