Hello everyone,

My name's Ksenia and I'm 19 years.
I live in Russia, in a small town near St. Petersburg.
I'm a student of Biology and Soil Sciences in Saint Petersburg State University. I'm interested in problems of environmental protection,ecology,protection of soil and problems of pollution. Also I really like zoology,especially protistology( microorganisms)and ornithology (birds). In the future I would like to investigate the effects of microorganisms to the soil.
And do you know that 2015 is the International Year Of Soil?;)

Except science, I am interested in literature, history, art and traveling.

My favorite animal is hedgehog:DD
Ok. About hedgehogs..
When I was a child, I lived in a countryside, in a small house near the woods. All my childhood was filled with nature: hedgehogs, jays, snails, white owls ..
So I'm a fan of hedgehogs. I adore them!

If possible, I would like to receive postcards with:
☺ hedgehogs, owls and snails;
☺ all assosiated with science;
☺ other animals you prefer and which are typical for your area;
☺ sea, ships,lighthouses and everything with this;
☺ starry sky;
☺ heroes of children's books from your country. My younger sisters and brother will like it;
☺ all about your country or the city: flags, landmarks, culture...

And,if possible,I have a little desire for certain countries:

☺Australia and New Zealand: your wonderful flora and fauna;
☺ The Netherlands: Miffy;
☺Finland: Moomin trolls;
☺Беларусь : открытки из серии " Фауна Беларуси";
☺Czech Republic:Krtek.

But I would be glad to get any cards!

Because postcrossing is primarily a communication.
With different people.
With different cultures.
I'm interested in everything.
