About Eva...

My name is Eva. I live on a periphery of Prague with my family (husband and three adult children). I teach Czech and German language at a primary school.

I have a weekend house with a huge garden about 70 kilometres north from Prague. It is surrounded by woods and beautiful meadows and fields. At the garden I like to plant flowers and different kinds of herbs. I also like attending flower expositions and visiting Botanic Gardens and others public gardens.
The garden has a huge amount of fruit trees and bush (blueberry, buckthorn, currant, etc.) and when a season of maturation comes I pot the fruit and make a lot of jam.

When autumn arrives I usually go to woods for a long walk and while I'm enjoying colourful leaves I pick up mushrooms, because I love when I can cook various kinds of specialities for my family from them.

My favourite drink is wine and my husband takes me to tasting of wines. Sometime we plane our vacation to wine areas for example in France, Hungary, or famous Czech old vineyards. I love white, dry wine the most.

In my free time I read books of many genres (Detective and mystery books are the best!) and even if I have 'pile of books' at home I visit public library very often.

I love travelling and visiting new countries.

I enjoy hand work - sewing, knitting, and jewelery making.

I will be blessed, if you send me postcard with natural interestingnesses of your country, sights - churches, castles, bridges, windmills, buildings or traditional ceremonies of your country or a traditional food. Things typical for Your country.
If You're not sure what to write about, You can share some interesting informations from Your country/region or do You have any interesting hobby, which don't many people do?

Please, if You can, don't send me ad cards, congratulation cards or cards, which aren't typical for Your country and You can buy them everywhere.

Have a nice day full of joy.
Thank You and Happy postcrossing!
