About Corinne...

Hi everyone !

My name is Corinne (Veisy is my surname!) and I’m teaching French as a Foreign Language.

After working in Kenya, Morocco and 15 years in the Czech Republic, I'm currently living in Spain, by the ocean.

I love travelling, taking leisurely strolls, discovering new places & new countries and reading as much as I can.
Origami is a lifelong joy of mine and I love paper decoration and handmade gifts.
I also have and endless appreciation for mountains and nature, downhill skiing and watching the snow falling while sipping a hot chocolate or a good black tea near a fireplace (good company is a plus !).

My dream would be to go to Japan to see how tradition and modernity can live together, and to bring back lots of washi tapes, origami paper and cute stickers. I even started to learn Japanese !

My favourite food is tabbouleh. The most beautiful countries I've been to are Iceland, Bolivia and Ethiopia and I hate rainy days.

I love postcards with historical buildings that are significant for the city, with local important figures, some natural parks, natural curiosities or strange-shaped cards. But of course, you can send me any postcard you like :) I also like the postcards from "Pickmotion".

If you're running out of ideas about what to write, you can explain why you chose that card, how your heard about Postcrossing, the last city or country you've been to, the strangest thing you've ever eaten (I ate crocodile, zebra, snails, crickets), what kind of strange habit you have (I'm always sleeping with socks !) or trying to answer to that difficult question: where are all the expired cards ?!?

Could you please write the date when you sent the postcard, the weather, and "hello" in your language ? Thanks ;)

I've struggled many times while trying to read the card ID, so please, could you write it legibly, or write it twice ?

And one last thing: if your profile is empty or if it consists only in a wish list, you'll unfortunately receive an empty postcard :)

Have a lovely day !

Corinne
