You have been randomly chosen to send me, a complete stranger, the gift of a postcard. I thank you in advance and want you to know that every card I receive is appreciated.

I have many hobbies and joys. I enjoy gardening, cooking and baking. Yes, cooking and baking are different. I consider cooking making a meal and baking making a treat. Sewing and any type of handwork has been a passion for most of my years. I have a rose garden, fruit trees and ornamental shrubs and trees.

I also am a prolific reader. Mysteries are my favorite. If you have an author you think I may enjoy please let me know.

My family is a very important part of my life. I have two beautiful adult children and two amazing grandsons.

I live in a high desert not far from the Grand Canyon National park.

I always appreciate an explanation of the card you have sent.

Please no ad cards or free cards. Handmade cards are acceptable if they are done artfully and on heavy duty paper appropriate for the postal service. Please consider the cards are traveling great distances, going through multiple hands and machines.
